Hands up if SPRING BREAK™ Experience FIJI is your first international trip without our parents or school teachers? Yaaaas! Let’s do this!

We are so excited for you to come on SPRING BREAK™ Experience FIJI with us, regardless of your travel history. If this is your first trip though there are some top tips you should know to make your trip that bit easier so you can focus on having the time of your life in the Pacific!

We like odd numbers, so here are our seven top tips for your first trip;

  1. Slow and Steady Wins the Race

Firstly, SPRING BREAK™ Experience FIJI is not a race, nor a competition! It’s all about you and your first true travel experience. What we’re saying is don’t go all too early. Going all out on day one is a sure fire way to ruin yourself for the rest of the week. Adopt a slow and steady pace for everything, especially drinking!
You’re on the island now bro, chill out!

  1. Pack Light

You don’t need to pack the kitchen sink. One rookie error for many first time SPRING BREAK™ Experience FIJI Trippers is to pack too much. Now, you have a reasonable baggage allowance and some would be inclined to say use it all…not us.

Check out our packing lists for guys and girls to make sure that you pack exactly the right amount for the trip and have plenty of space for souvenirs on the way home!

  1. Bring a Camera

Although many people like to totally disconnect on holiday don’t forget that in years to come you kick yourself for not having captured the memories you made on your first SPRING BREAK™ Experience FIJI. We do have our own team of photographers and videographers who will be at the heart of the action capturing all the highlights but they’re not your personal paparazzi!

  1. Get Travel Insurance

This is one that many people forget to do on their first trip to SPRING BREAK™ Experience FIJI. Yes, SPRING BREAK™ Experience FIJI is inclusive of just about everything but not travel insurance. Not sure why you need travel insurance, read more here. Believe us, this, aside from your passport is the most essential travel item.

  1. Stay Safe in the Sun

Without running the risk of sounding like your Mother, be sure to stay safe in the sun. Although we know you know the risks of sunburn and you need to put on sun cream you need to also keep a track of how long you spend in the sun. You can get heat stroke or heat exhaustion without getting sunburnt. Keep hydrated and dip in and out in the sun.

  1. Photocopy Your Passport

Whenever you travel it’s always a good idea to take a couple of photocopies of your passport with you. Should your passport be lost, stolen or ruined you can take your photocopy to the embassy and this will vastly speed up the reissuing process.

  1. Go For It

SPRING BREAK™ Experience FIJI is a chance to say YES! Be adventurous, put yourself out there and push yourself to the limits in all the right ways. How else, do you propose, you have the time of your life!?
